These unique wall hangings are slow made by me in my Melbourne studio. They consist of cotton and linen blended fabrics for texture and to keep things natural. They are lined using a cotton batting. The sticks are respectfully foraged locally (no small critters harmed in the process). They are thoughtfully beaded using repurposed wooden beads that are sourced in second hand shops.
The crowea saligna is the plant that is featured on the print. It is indigenous to the coastal open forests of New South Wales and its shape and form give me a lot of inspiration.
Dimensions (approx.)
Height: 33cm (to the top of the stick not including the string)
Width: 28cm
